Coon Creek Falls in Tennessee

Fall Creek Falls and Coon Creek Falls (3/16/2009, 18 mm, f/16, 1/2 sec, ISO 100)

Description

Coon Creek Falls - the poor thing constantly plays second fiddle to its neighbor, Falls Creek Falls.  Coon Cr. Falls is the small waterfall to the right of Fall Cr. Falls in any photo you see of the area.

In another location the waterfall would be most impressive.

But it's not.  And in mid-summer Coon Creek slows down to a bare trickle, low enough that the waterfall is only marginally visible.

Since the waterfall is next to Fall Creek Falls, please refer to the Fall Creek Falls page for detailed information.
