Cascades, Pembroke, Virginia

(Rocky Mount, VA)

4 mile round trip hike along the creek leading up to the falls with a very nice reveal if you have never been there and do not know what to expect. Kinda rocky but not too steep. Easier return on another trail if you like. Entrance is right downtown Pembroke. We used a gps the first time and it took us up a mountain and to the top I guess at the Appalachian trail, so do not go that way, not so good for your vehicle, needed an alignment after that trip.

Simply beautiful. The hike is easy, but two miles long. Worth the walk. You will enjoy the meanduring hike along the creek. Then you get your prize when you get to the cascading waterfalls!

Go during the off season to avoid the swimmers.
